The Max Levine Ensemble "Ok Smartypants" LP
Catalog Number: NBR-005
Release Date: 11/08

Wow, almost a full year since the release of the CD version this wonderfull album finally gets pressed on vinyl. I just can't believe I was lucky enough to be the one pressing it. The Max Levine Ensemble are a poppy punk band that hail from Washington D.C. They have one of the most truely unique sounds of any band thats ever stepped foot into the punk / pop punk genre. This album finds the Max Levine Ensemble playing through 14 brand new songs as a 3 piece band, Franz Nicolay ( The Hold Steady, World Inferno Friendship Society, Anti-Social Music ETC...) also appears playing keyboard on a couple tracks. Get ready for intensely catchy, smart, youthful melodic punk songs.Super fast paced pop punk with tons of heart and tons of inspiration to give. If there's one thing to say about these guys, it's all abouth the fun, for them and anyone that's lucky enough to be watching them live.
